About DeWeather Cares
DeWeather Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing suffering caused by natural disasters and helping communities when they need it most. Through its Disaster Task Force, DeWeather Cares rapidly deploys volunteers, equipment, and urgently needed supplies to communities across the United States affected by hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, severe weather, and other natural disasters. The organization also operates programs supporting children, families, pets, first responders, and emergency service organizations. These include Cares Kits containing essential supplies for the first 72 hours following a disaster, Cares for Kids, Cares for Pets, Cares for Responders, Bennett Boxes, and Task Force Breaks. DeWeather Cares is a 100% volunteer organization with no paid staff. Its mission is simple: when disaster strikes and they have the ability to help, they show up.
